We’re back with some exciting updates following the official launch of Simple Start in October! We’ve been hard at work expanding our services, improving our infrastructure, and gathering valuable insights to better serve you. Here’s what’s new:

Simple Start Success and Growing Client Base

Our Simple Start compliance consultations for open-source hardware are off to a great start! We’ve already completed consultations for several projects, helping makers get clarity on regulatory requirements early in their development process. Thank you to everyone who has jumped in and taken advantage of this new service!

We’re also excited to share that we also currently support   several larger clients with classical CE services.
They reacted very positive to our approach and decided to work with us on the compliance of their proprietary products.
This marks a new milestone in bringing affordable and accessible compliance support to projects of all sizes.

Infrastructure Updates: Our New Facility

We’re making steady progress on our new facility, but due to necessary renovations, the move-in will take a bit longer than anticipated. We’re investing in extensive updates to ensure the space can support all of our expanding operations—from compliance services to community events. Once renovations are complete, our new headquarters will allow us to offer an even higher level of service and engagement.

New Software Development

Behind the scenes, we’re working on dedicated software to streamline product documentation and enhance our internal processes. This new system will help us support clients more efficiently and improve how we manage and track project documentation—essential steps as we scale our services for makers and small businesses alike.

Insights from Kicon and Maker Faire Rome

We had the opportunity to attend both Kicon and Maker Faire Rome, where we connected with the community and received valuable feedback on our services. These insights have given us a deeper understanding of our audience’s needs, and we’re using them to make our offerings even more tailored and accessible to the open-source hardware community.

Content Library and Video Production

As part of our commitment to providing valuable resources, we’re developing a content library to support open-source hardware projects. However, the video production portion is postponed until our new headquarters is fully operational. Once the facility is ready, we’ll kick off production to bring you high-quality, informative content!
